Go deep-sea fishing from the Riviera Maya’s Maroma Beach
Choose to start your private fishing expedition either in the early morning or in the early afternoon for an adventure that will be exclusively for your friends and family. You can opt for pick-up from your resort or make your own way to the Maroma Adventures marina, just north of Playa del Carmen. Once you’re there, meet your friendly captain and crew, who will help you board one of their boats measuring between 34 and 43 feet.
After a briefing, your private group is ready to cruise off into the turquoise Caribbean aboard your comfortable boat, which comes equipped with a restroom, cabin, and fishing chair. And to help you refresh under the delicious sun, kick back with a cold one or with soft drinks as you take in the views of the majestic sea all around you. Soon, you’ll be trolling for bait fish, which will be pivotal in catching the big deep sea fish lurking in the deepest waters.

After all the excitement of catching the deep sea fish, your boat will head back to the marina, where you can take photos with your catch of the day. You can also take a breather at the restaurant and enjoy some snacks and soft drinks until your transportation takes you back to your resort.

- Pick-up and drop-off times will vary according to resort location
- Guests can also participate in the catch-and-release program
- The actual time fishing is 4 or 8 hours, but additional activities such as snacks and photos can take additional time (from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours)
