Overview

Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or prefer the quieter side of things, there’s something for everyone at the Chukka Ocean Outpost. This entrance ticket gives you access to some of the Outpost’s top attractions including the use of the infinity pool, chill-out spots, kayaks, paddleboards, and ocean hammocks. Plus, you can choose an additional Outpost experience from a list of available activities to enhance your day. Your main activity will be scheduled, while you can enjoy the others at your leisure.

Description

Mountain to Sea Horseback Ride ‘N’ Swim

 Hop on a horse and go riding along Jamaica’s backcountry trails and pass-through farmlands, while exploring the ruins of an 18th-century sugar plantation on this tour in Montego Bay. Travel across scenic vistas and past rivers and streams before going for a refreshing swim in the Caribbean Sea. First-time riders will have a chance to get comfortable with their horses before heading out.


Ocean Outpost Park: Snorkel & Party Cruise

 Your adventure begins with a scenic drive down the coast to Chukka Ocean Outpost at Sandy Bay, where ocean-loving thrill-seekers and cultural explorers unite. Step aboard the Chukka Catamaran, either on the Island Star vessel that carries approximately 110 people or the Miss Behavin vessel that carries 65, and sail away with the crew to Jamaica’s natural and astonishing reef system. The certified guides will give you a brief safety demonstration, and then it’s time to experience the clear blue Caribbean Sea and marine wildlife beneath. You’ll be propelled effortlessly through the depths using your underwater propulsion unit like many have seen in James Bond movies – the only ones in Jamaica! Glide near the surface or dive to take a closer look at beautiful coral, sea fans, and colorful tropical fish in this unique and thrilling adventure. Once back on board, sit back, relax, and take in the view of Jamaica’s coastline, where mountains kiss the sea while listening and dancing to the tunes from our Chukka DJ.


Ocean Zipline & Hammock Splash

 Your ocean zipline adventure begins in a magnificent 250-year-old guango tree. Make your way up to the 50 ft high tree-house platform that gives you an incredible aerial view of Chukka Ocean Outpost and the Jamaican coastline. The first zip takes you to a unique floating platform which transitions to a 500 ft zip line out to sea. Fly directly over the ocean and mangroves to the next floating platform, offering unmatched sea views. Two additional ziplines will carry you from the ocean to the shoreline, where you´ll land directly on the sand. For the grand finale, sit in a unique hammock zipline that will zip you through the air ending in a fun splashdown in the warm Caribbean Sea!
