The Puerto Vallarta city tour begins with pick-up at your resort. An air-conditioned bus will serve as your chariot while you go around town with a professional and bilingual guide, ready to answer your questions and point out the city’s highlights. You’ll begin on the city’s north side and work your way toward downtown. Stopping to get off the bus, you’ll walk around and take in the city’s monuments such as The Arches (Los Arcos) and places like City Hall. While on foot, you can shop as you pass enticing stores.
Taste tequila and local cuisine
When you get back on the bus, you’ll travel farther south toward a tequila factory, stopping to learn how this popular Mexican drink is made. Best of all, you can even sample the tequila if you choose! Lunch is not included on your Puerto Vallarta city tour, but you’ll have free time to pick a place along the river that intrigues you. There are lots of great restaurants in the city, which hosts an annual international cooking festival every year. After lunch, return back to your resort or cruise ship with plenty of daylight available to enjoy the Vallarta coast.
