Description
Meet and greet live dolphins
Following a pick-up from your resort, your Delphinus Xel-Ha experience begins with certified trainers and instructors who will give you a 15-minute introduction to educate you about the resident dolphins and how to interact safely in the water with them. Anyone taller than 4 feet is welcome to join in the 45-minute water experience with the dolphins.
Swim with dolphins and watch their tricks
Next on your very special swimming experience, you’ll be able to gently caress the dolphins’ backs, pet their bellies, give them a kiss, share a wet hug, shake hands and go for a gentle ride with them on the ‘foot push’ exercise. You’ll also witness dolphins performing their favorite tricks for you, as they jump and flip in the water surrounding you.
Add on a visit to an ecological setting
This excursion takes place at the all-inclusive Xel-Ha ecological park. Although it hosts the dolphin program, admission to the eco-park isn’t included in this excursion. But you’re welcome to add it on and play in the water by swimming in cenotes (freshwater sinkholes), lagoons and caves, as well as snorkeling and zip lining above the water. When you’re finished, return to your resort in comfortable transportation.
