Description

Enjoy a comfortable bus tour of Maui

Beginning with pick up at your Maui resort, you will board the small passenger bus with oversized viewing windows and plush seating. Led by a certified guide from the State of Hawaii, your eight-hour Haleakala Crater tour will include narration pinpointing top sites and providing historical and cultural references to what you are seeing. At each stop, you will have between 15 to 40 minutes to take pictures and enjoy the sites, depending on the location.


Take in scenic vistas and diverse landscape

The first stop of your Haleakala Crater tour is at the crater and a visit to its National Park. Spanning more than 33,000 acres, you will see the crater’s unique cones and shapes and stand on top of the world’s largest dormant volcano. Moving on to Iao Valley State Park, you will have an hour to enjoy a short walk on Iao Needle Lookout Trail and Ethnobotanical Loop to take in this volcanic crater scenery. Then it is off to Wailuku Town, a quaint town that is home to Maui’s government and filled with historic attractions. While driving around the island, you will also see scenic vistas, flower farms, sugar cane plantations and churches.
