Your adventure begins early in the morning with pick-up from your resort, and your first stop will be in the downtown Montego Bay area. Your knowledgeable guide will show you around and teach you lots of fascinating information about the history of this place. One of the key places to explore is Sam Sharpe Square, named after the revered anti-slavery advocate.
See the monument commemorating Sharpe’s struggle in the early 19th century and walk along cobblestone streets to see the local sights. Afterward, visit St. James Parish Church and admire its stunning stained glass depiction of Jesus’ crucifixion, as well as incredible marble sculptures, all while you learn more about the history and importance of this church.

Next up, your journey will take you from the city to the countryside to encounter the more peaceful rural side of Jamaica. You’ll stop at the Woodland Basic School, where you’ll meet local school children who will be happy to spend some time with you and learn about each other’s cultures. Then you’ll go the place called High Point, where appropriately enough you’ll get an elevated view of incredible scenery down below, including the blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. When this excursion wraps up, you’ll take the return ride back to your resort.
