Chileno Bay snorkeling and paddleboarding experience
After boarding a catamaran that’s only for you and your friends, crew members will welcome you with an explanation of safety and services aboard the boat. Your private luxury catamaran will depart the Marina in Puerto Los Cabos to sail towards Chileno Beach, a beautiful stretch of golden sand and one of the few swimmable beaches in Los Cabos. This beach has the Blue Flag recognition. The area has been designated a protected marine park.
The calm waters of Chileno Bay make it one of the most popular for snorkeling and water sports in Los Cabos. Your crew will get out the paddleboards and you will be outfitted with snorkeling gear. The rocky outcrops to the south of the beach create some spectacular underwater scenery, with many sand gullies between vertical rock walls, very large boulders, and overhangs. Extensive areas are covered in corals. This special underwater environment provides a unique habitat and has become well-known varied, easily observed, and often abundant inhabitants including porcupine fish, pufferfish, and boxfish. If you’re lucky you might spot sea turtles, rays, and even octopus!
Above water, you’ll show off your paddle boarding technique! If you are new to the sport, the crew will help you get the hang of things, and you’ll discover what all the buzz is about. Take your time, this private excursion adapts to your own pace. This above-water experience - and you’ll have an entirely different viewpoint of the magnificent Sea of Cortes.
