Your high-energy Vallarta river expedition departs from Nuevo Vallarta, the Marina, Plaza las Glorias and Centro, with pick-ups in an air-conditioned shuttle. You’ll be taken to Canopy River, where friendly guides will welcome you with a complimentary welcome drink and then go over safety precautions
Once you’re geared up for your adventure, you’re off for a short mule ride toward the jungle for pulse-pounding fun. Fill your body with adrenaline as you go soaring through the trees and over the river on seven different zip lines. Have the time of your life swinging ropes across the jungle like Tarzan. Enjoy white-knuckled walks across hanging bridges, as well as 78-foot free falls and 88-foot rappels.
Raft down a river to a tequila tasting
Come down back to earth from your canopy high, it’s time to cool off with the lighter part of your Vallarta river expedition. You’ll get on inflatable inner tubes and move over gentle rapids down the river, experiencing a pleasant and wet ride.
You’ll end the day with a tequila tasting to learn all about this Mexican liquor. (Beside the tasting and the complimentary drink, the other activities welcome children older than 12). A taste of tequila is just the right ending to an exciting excursion before you’re taken back to your resort.
