Your dolphin swim adventure begins with an optional pick-up from your resort in the Riviera Maya, or make your own way to the Delphinus Riviera Maya dolphin center in the legendary Xcaret Eco-Park in Playa del Carmen. You’ll share this unforgettable experience with a group of no more than 10 people, all led by expert dolphin trainers who will teach you all the details about your dolphin friends during a 15-minute briefing, getting you acquainted with these incredible sea animals.
Once you’ve been briefed about nature’s most intelligent sea mammals, go right into the warm waters and get ready to come face-to-face with your swimming companions. Your Riviera Maya splash dolphin swim will give you and your group 30 minutes to swim with the delightful dolphins. You can select from 14 different activities, most notably a kiss from your flippered friend. Feel free to hug them and pet them, because they love all the care and affection from humans. Don’t be surprised if they give you a nice applause for being such a loving swim buddy!

During your swim, a professional photographer will be capturing all your memorable moments in the water. When your activity concludes, you’ll look through all the photographs of your dolphin swim, which you can purchase to treasure all the memories you made for years to come. After this, hop on your vehicle to make the return trip to your resort. This magnificent excursion is perfect for the whole family, especially for kids as young as 2 years old.

Practical Information
- Round-trip transportation from Riviera Maya resorts only, at an additional charge. Please note that our partner will be providing transportation in their vehicle so that you can enjoy this exciting excursion.
- Wear your bathing suit, comfortable clothing and footwear
- Bring a hat, sunglasses, biodegradable sunblock, and money for snacks, tips, and souvenirs (tipping is optional)
- Do not apply any sunblock until after the completion of your program
- For safety’s sake, cameras are not allowed during this swim, but photo packages are available for purchase at the end of your activity
- Children smaller than 47 inches (1.20 meters) or who cannot swim must go in the water with an adult
- Very important: Please leave all jewelry behind, especially rings and bracelets as these can scratch or hurt the dolphins
