Your fishing adventure begins with transportation from your resort to the Marina El Cid fishing resort in the Riviera Cancun area. Upon arriving at the marina, a friendly captain and crew will welcome you and will have you board one of several private boats ranging from 29 to 42 feet in length. They’ll be equipped with all your deep-sea fishing gear and you’ll be briefed before taking off on your selected vessel, which will sail for 4, 6, or 8 hours, depending on your choice.
Once you set sail on your fishing charter, take in the views of the Riviera Cancun shores, its crystal-clear waters, blue skies overhead, and the stunning turquoise waters surrounding your boat. You’ll definitely fall hook, line, and sinker for this beauty as paradise stretches before you.

As you’re cruising out at sea, enjoy bottled water and soft drinks onboard your boat as the breeze delights your face. Then your crew members will guide you through trolling, a method of fishing where one or more lines are baited and drawn through the water to attract fish.

- Round-trip transportation is available but increases the price of the excursion
- Pick-up and drop-off times will vary according to resort location
- Please note that our partner will be providing transportation in their vehicle so that you can enjoy this exciting excursion.
- A $15 USD dock fee is not included, so please bring additional cash
- Catch of the day can be taken to the marina to cook (extra cost of $10 USD per person)
- Guests can also participate in the catch-and-release program
- Excursion not suitable for people older than 70, children younger than 2, and/or pregnant women
