Description
Care for dolphins as a trainer for a day
Beginning with transportation, you’ll be taken to the all-inclusive Xel-Ha ecological park. This natural attraction features cenotes, lagoons, and caves, and offers a variety of marine life programs. As a trainer for a day, you’ll meet and work alongside professional dolphin caregivers and trainers, learning about the mammals who reside there. Discover each dolphin’s unique personality as you feed and care for them, learning the trainers’ tools and communication codes so you can also ‘talk to’ the dolphins. Just six trainers are allowed per day, so you’ll be with an intimate group.
Catch a ride on a fin in a swimming program
When your trainer for a day work is done, it’s time to have fun by getting into the water with the dolphins. Grab a dorsal fin for a ride, and try the enthralling foot push as the dolphin pushes your feet with his bottle nose at a nice speed. Also, watch the dolphins do acrobatics so close to you, you’ll feel the splash! This program gives you about 200 minutes in the water with these incredible animals, and when you finish, you’ll be transported back to your resort.

Practical Information
- Wash off all sunscreen or lotion from your body and remove all jewelry before getting into the water with the dolphins
